Not my view buddy just what the Ars tech guys saying. I couldn't care less which is better. I was just pointing out the 'coincidence' of a pro PS3 article popping up straight after a 'possibly' pro 360 one.
Lets wait for the LoT guys to do their comparision.

Well guys I'm the first to admit that I am a bit of an xbox fan this generation (although the updates over time have made my PS3 better) and I love PGR and Forza but I just spermed my kegs when I saw these pics. Wow If it runs as good as it looks I might have to get used to that PS3 controller after all.
(I do think that the aa filters have been over these images - photo mode?? no jaggies at all - can't see that happening in running game.)

Liking the update. Took no time at all. Menus are crisp and bright with lots of artwork everywhere. It looks a lot more pro overall. The pop up blade section is a bit dull and could have been made a bit sharper - otherwise so far so good. Nice one MS. I agree with comments above about the lots of back tracking in menus which can get many levels deep. Is there a one button return to root menu?

Personally I like these comparisons as I sometimes have to choose which platform to buy on. I like my achievements and hardware scaler on 360 but If the game is better on PS3 then I will go with that. I want the best for my money seeing as I have invested a lot in hardware.
Whilst these games might not be the best choices it is a matter of taste at the end of the day. I think the Club is quite good.

Great pic but I love the wrap around background photo type thing - look at the trees on the edge - but hey I'll buy that for a dollar!
Actually If you load up the larger images on the website it doesn't look too bad although I think it's obvious they have been touched a bit - the edges are far too smooth.
The only other thing I can see that is odd is that the female character seems to have bought a top that is a bit too short. A fashion faux pas me thinks. I guess there are not that many opportunities to get to a Marks & Spencer in her world - either that or our friends the codies seem to think that a hint...

Removing the BC was right from a cost pov but not having a s/w solution wasn't the smartest move and the EU got a bit shafted here I think. Surely with the 2Tflop of Cell they could do an MS and provide software emulation. Forza 1 plays like a dream on my 360.

I mean from a next gen perspective I think things have moved forward along with other genres and we racers are spoilt for choice. The best games I have are mainly racers. I never had so much choice when I was PC only. TOCA race driver and GTR being the best. Although Grand Prix legends has a special place in my hard drive.

I think the point here folks is that a year old game on the 360 still looks better than a 'newer' port on PS3 which is 100% reason not to buy it. If the devs can't be bothered when why should we bother to buy it?
It just shows what happens when devs lazy port over. If they don't optimise for the system then it might as well be running as a 360 emulation on the PS3 and this will not play to any strengths the Cell/RSX combo might have.
